Context

As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern joining our Embedded Software team, you will have to assess the work needed to support our product ARCA trusted OS on a new ARM board (based on NXP I.MX6 CPU family) as well as implement a proof of concept. You will work within the team that has developed the Embedded version of our product and will work on Cysec’s own Yocto layer to add the support of this board. Thanks to you, our team will be able to:

• Streamline the board qualification process
• Add a new ARM board to Cysec offering
• Support a new production ready board

 

Objectives

• Familiarize yourself with the Yocto project build system, our Yocto layer and Arca trusted OS on ARM.
• List what components of the system are dependent on the new CPU family and need to be adapted.
• Implement the minimal components needed to have a PoC on this specific board
• Test and benchmark the new board

What we’re looking for

• Graduated or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or Electronic Engineering
• Strong Knowledge of Linux system and its inner working
• A curious nature with a desire to tackle and solve complex problems
