Linux System Engineer Migration RH7 to 8- Zurich/ 12+ months

 

Our client from the finance environment in Zurich is looking for an English- speaking Linux System Engineer. We are looking for someone who can start in September and who has a banking background (very big plus).

 

Conditions:

- Start date- 09/2023

- Duration- 12 months with a big extension opportunity

- Work capacity- 80/100%

- Work model- Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days offsite)

 

About the role:

- Performing RHEL OS upgrades

- Migration of RH7 to RH8

- Backfill role to perform day-to-day Linux admin operation

- Communication with different customers

 

 

Votre profil

About you:

- Good knowledge of RHEL (4-6 years)

- Experience performing RHEL OS upgrades

- Experience with migration of RH7 to RH8

- Project experience with backfill duties for daily operations

- Knowledge of Ansible / AAP / Satellite / GitLab would be a plus

- Banking experience is a plus

- Very good communication, motivation, good organizational skills and fluent English
