Description

Plan the development and implementation of new, efficient and effective IT solutions (approx. 1’200 users)

Actively participate to the development of the IT strategy, together with the Head of IT

Be the first point of contact with IT manufacturers, vendors, and consultants to insure proper development, installation and operation of IT services

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations with regard to network infrastructure, systems, hardware, software, and peripherals

Test and configure networking equipment, computer hardware, operating system software and mobile devices

Monitor network and systems performance; establish performance requirements and specifications, conduct evaluations, and observe usability studies

Protect hardware, software, and data by planning and implementing network security measures

Plan for disaster recovery solutions, including backup and restoring operations with lowest possible RTO & RPO

Technically oversee IT helpdesk support function and assign priorities to the team

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex IT issues; lead and interface with external partners to resolve technical problems when necessary

Ensure accurate software licensing and inventory

Develop and monitor IT budget together with the Head of IT

Lead large scale IT projects

Develop IT policies, guidelines, procedures, and training for IT support staff

Votre profil

Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field

Minimum of five years of experience as a Systems Engineer

Strong understanding of network infrastructure (wired and wireless), network security, server systems (Microsoft/ Linux), Voice Over IP & Unified Communications (Microsoft Exchange/ Skype for Business), virtualisation and storage

Ability to think at a strategic level, combined with the ability to plan, prioritise, and take actions at operational level; ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative IT solutions

Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including firewalls, routers, switches, WAPs, and controllers

Ability to identify complex IT problems and review related information to develop, test, and evaluate options and implement solutions

Vendor expert certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA/ CCNP, VMWare VCA/ VCP, etc. are a strong asset

Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network

Excellent communication skills in both English (minimum C1) and French

Well-organised, reliable, and detail-oriented with good project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel, prioritising, and meeting deadlines; ITIL certification desirable
