As a Platform Architect, you will be instrumental in guiding the technical trajectory and vision of our projects - in particular related to the development of a revolutionary product around transforming scientific data. Teaming up with a diverse group of technical and business experts, you will champion technical programs from initial design to full-blown deployment. Your domain will encompass vital areas such as System Design, Implementation Roadmaps, Scalability, Integration Strategies, Data Architecture, and Data Governance. A hands-on approach with premier cloud technology vendors will be essential as you strive to deliver pioneering solutions to our user base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Consistently drive the realization of business value. Evaluate new tools and technologies, prototype avant-garde solutions, and offer recommendations to enhance our platform's capabilities.
• Solution Development: Design, develop, test, document, and deploy top-notch solutions on various cloud platforms, leveraging contemporary tools and technologies.
• Architectural Design and review: Develop and design the overall architecture of the platform, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and is scalable, reliable, and secure. Review what was proposed so far, providing alternatives where better practices can be applied.
• Collaboration: Engage proactively with business stakeholders to innovate new solutions or refine existing ones. Lead technical discussions, embracing a comprehensive set of tools, architectures, and processes.
• Knowledge Sharing: Regularly engage in constructive discussions with the team, submit pull requests, and share insights to foster continuous learning and growth.
• Expert Consultation: Offer both technical and functional expertise related to our platform and its underlying technologies to internal teams.

• Certifications: Must possess relevant Architecture Certifications in the technology domain (e.g., Google, Microsoft, AWS).
• Global Solution Design: Proficiency in conceiving comprehensive architectural solutions within a multifaceted technology ecosystem.
• Project Leadership: Proven experience in spearheading and overseeing complex multi-cloud initiatives.
• Thought Leadership: Ability to introduce innovative ideas, challenge conventional methods, and propel technological progress.
• Change Management: Demonstrated prowess in championing change, ensuring that technological shifts are seamlessly integrated and well-embraced.
• Program Leadership: Proven track record in managing multiple projects, aligning them with business objectives, and delivering on time.
